Fourth Sunday of EASTER
A Happy and Holy Easter Season to one and all.

who were recently baptised into our community!!
- Confessions - Saturday
11:15 - 12 noon. Also after 7pm Mass and of course on request.
- May : the Month of Mary - Special devotion to Our Lady. Let us
unite as a parish to pray the Rosary for our families. The Rosary is said
daily before Mass at 8.30am and 9.30am on Sunday. Rosaries are on sale in
the Piety Shop.
- Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual
Succour - Wednesday at 7:30 pm. During May - the month of our Blessed
Lady, I encourage you all to come and honour Mary - our
most Blessed Mother.
- The Sanctuary Lamp will burn this week for the Balmer Family. To
avoid disappointment, please place requests for masses and the Sanctuary
Lamp as soon as possible. The next available date for the Sanctuary Lamp is
27th June 2004.
- Parish Lottery - It has been suggested that we begin a 100 Club to
assist development of the Parish Centre. The proceeds will be divided 50%
for prizes and 50% for the Development Fund. Money will be used only for
development and providing fuller facilities for parish use and for repayment
of the loan for the upgrading of the Club. Still a few places left.

will, please remember Our Lady's Restoration Fund.
- Vocation Sunday - Holy Hour to pray for Vocations - please make an
effort to come at 4.00pm

- Flower Arrangers - Wednesday at 1:30 pm.
- Marriages 2005 - If those wishing to marry here have not yet
confirmed their date and time for next year, please do so as soon as
possible.
- Songs of Praise - Ashton Churches together - Many Thanks to all who prepared and supported
our "Songs of Praise" celebration. Sadly, we were outnumbered by our
visitors.
- Barn Dance in aid of St Wilfreds on Friday 7 May Stubshaw Cross
Labour Club Tickets : £5 including refreshments.
- Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to Ladywell Saturday 29 May , led by Most Rev.
Patrick Kelly. Please see the notice in the porch for more details. If
anyone is interested, please let Fr Reynolds know.
- Saturday Day Retreats at Tabor Retreat House, Preston. May 8, June 5, July 3.
Notice in the porch has the details.
- Project 2030 Newcomer's Meeting two groups for Catholics in the North West and North Wales
with a programme of walks, meals, retreats etc. Meetings in Manchester and
Liverpool. The Newsletter with a programme of events is on the board in the
porch.
- Please pray for Austin (Ozzie) Shea who has recently died,
and for the comfort of his family and friends who mourn
