EASTER SUNDAY!!!
A Happy and Holy Easter to one and all.
My thanks to all who prepared, took part in and came to the ceremonies of Holy Week.
- Confessions - Saturday
11:15 - 12 noon. Also after 7pm Mass and of course on request.
- Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual
Succour - Wednesday at 7:30 pm. As we begin again our perpetual
novena to Our Lady, I do encourage you all to come and honour Our Lady - our
most Blessed Mother.
- The Sanctuary Lamp will burn this week in memory of the Myler and
Naughton families.
- Parish Lottery - It has been suggested that we begin a 100 Club to
assist development of the Parish Centre. The proceeds will be divided 50%
for prizes and 50% for the Development Fund. Money will be used only for
development and providing fuller facilities for parish use and for repayment
of the loan for the upgrading of the Club. If you are interested please
contact Father Reynolds.
- Organ Recital and Festival of Song - John Walton (organist) and
Louise Dean (Mezzo Soprano) here next Sunday April 18th at 3.30pm. Admission
is free. This is the first of our Centenary Celebrations so please make an
effort to be present and support it - and enjoy a wonderful event!
- Songs of Praise - Ashton Churches together - are holding their
annual Songs of Praise in our church on April 29 at 7.30pm.
- Please pray for Mary Chorlton and James Rosbotham who have recently died,
and for the comfort of their family and friends who mourn
