Reconcilliation |
Christmas is a story of people, places and things:
of people: Mary & Joseph, angels, shepherds & wise men;
of places: Nazareth, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, the East;
of things: a manger; a star; gold, frankincense and myrrh.
But, essentially, Christmas is a story of love, God’s love for us, made visible in His Son, Jesus Christ. He is Emmanuel, a name which means God-is-with-us.
The ‘little’ town of Bethlehem is no longer little, nor is it a place which is ‘at peace’. Yet still, the ‘hopes and fears of all the years’ are met in the baby who is born there, who is the Prince-of-Peace.
Please join us at this special time to share in this joy and peace, and to give thanks to God for so great a gift.
We wish you a blessed and holy Christmas.
