HOPE

With this Mass, we begin the Sacred Triduum, the three days during which we recall the Lord’s Paschal Mystery in His Passion, Death and Resurrection.

In particular, we commemorate:

1. The Institution of the Eucharist – the Sacrament of His Body & Blood, given for the life of the world, and His command to His disciples to ‘do this in memory of me.’

2. The example of service Christ gives us in the washing of His disciples’ feet, and our call to follow this example.
